That's really impressive man.  Do you feel the 4 cylinder white block is better in any regards than the 5?

Pretty sure that's the general consensus, ECU tunability is the hold back.

707hp vs. 694hp 2.8bar run. Only difference 1 degree more timing after 7000rpm. This is from dyno session on spring 2016. :) 650nm max torque limit was reached so did not try to reach MBT (stock composite head gasket).

Outrageously awesome!!  Thanks for this thread; it's an inspiration, I am sure, to many of us on VS..

Only one thing is better and that is divided manifold and divided turbine housing on turbo when using 4cyl engine (better spool and overlap handling). 5cyl is better in everyother way because it can handle one cylinder more power with same modifications.

Tune is the most important thing when having lots of power and torque. If its not just right engine wont hold long. :)

Thanks guys! I will try to help you as much as i can. ;)

Only if the current spring is too weak from old age. Tightening it to spec often is enough in such a case. Other than that, a stiffer spring than stock will only introduce spiking, and possible rod bending detonation if it's not accomodated for in the tune.

The wastegate preload should be around 4 to 4.5 psi.

Dude are you running stock poking brakes???

Yes. :D Stops great from 192mph on standing mile with half mile stopping distance. :) Also i don't drive on track where you really need good brakes. On street max speed i drive is 150mph and from that stops also easily with only EBC Yellow Stuff pads on front and braided brakelines front and rear. I havent got single "oops" moment cause of brakes, with 707hp you cannot drive like crazy everywhere. So no need for big brakes. :D
