Well lets see, I'm not sure exactly which headlight bulbs you have to get for your car. You need to get the 9005 and 9006 bulbs. For something better as far as halogen goes you can pick up some Sylvania Silverstars or some of the PIAA lights. And no, they do not make jeweled headlights for your car. Most of the mods for the 93-97 Volvos are for the 850 series. Any more questions feel free to ask.

Eh...don't waste your money on the U.S. Silverstar bulbs. I've tried PIAA Xtreme White and Star White and they're both crap. If you want an actual increase in brightness of your headlights, stay away from the U.S. Silverstar and PIAA, in fact anything with blue lens/glass. They reduce actual light output, but trick the eye by creating more glare, because of the bluish/purplish color to the light.
There is a pinned topic in the Cosmetic forum..."resources page". From there there is a good site where you can read about halogen bulbs and what's good or not

I bought the european +50 Silverstar (in H1) for my car and I can honestly say that they are so much better than the U.S. Silverstar bulbs. Just shoot DS an email and he will set you up with good bulbs at a reasonable price
