Brake Booster Diaphragm Position Sensor Replacement

Recommended Posts

Using a small screwdriver, push the end (passenger side) of the locking ring toward the drivers side of the car. While the ring is released, pull the sensor and it should be free :).

Not sure if the parts car has been run lately, but if it has, pump the brakes a few times until the pedal becomes hard to relieve any remaining vacuum in the booster (do the same when you remove your original). If not, the vacuum in the booster can suck the o-ring inside and you won't have it to reinstall ;).

Hope this helps,
