I have a modified s70 t5 as you will see in my signature. however, my gas mileage is as follows:

15-17mpg in downtown washington
25-30 mpg going speedlimit on highway.
20 mpg going 90-110 on long trip.

is this what i should be expecting? i usually get about 200 to 300 miles per tank in the downtown/mixed driving. i usually get about 380 miles to the tank on road trips.

if you get 30 on the highway @ near speed-limit driving I'd say that's pretty good. I have an N/A and my numbers around town are just slightly better than yours, and I run Super all the time.

sounds very normal. the chip will hurt the city driving mileage a touch. but the hwy driving is right on.

I got the same thing Jordan... 15.9 city right now. winter gas hurts the MPG's as well.. once the summer gas hits the pumps, expect a slight increase.

Yes, the gas in this winter is very bad. Worse than most years by a large
amount. I am getting 22-24mpg highway going 65mph-70mph

Agreed, this is one of my most serious problems with my 850, it is quite a gas pig. I think I was getting better mileage with my V8 sportscar. mad.gif

I've driven 480 miles on a tank before, filled up before the gas low indicator went on.

However, in the city I'm down to about 17 mpg combined city highway due to a heavy foot.

I get ~600/tank highway driving (drove from LA to SLO on 1/3 of a tank, 210 miles). City driving I average 18 mpg...

I see about 17-19 urban (80/20 city/hwy) and generally fill up around 300miles. I wear lead-shoes.

according to my trip computer i get about 19MPG with a 20/80 city/highway mix. i'll have to actually do the math sometime.

you folks using regular gas? i was told that midgrade or premium would give me a bit better mileage.

Keep your foot out of the turbo folks. I consistantly get 20 in the city and can make it 330 miles from full till the gas light comes on. I have driven over 480 miles on a tank on the highway. Sounds to me like you're all a bunch of speed deamons and lead footers.

I have a strong bladder, but I don't think I could make 480 miles without a stop. I can usually take over 300 without a pit stop. However that is when I travel alone. Bring the Significant other and you have to cut that distance in half sad.gif .

BTW I average 23-25 on the highway with an average speed of ~78MPH

see when i'm cruising on the freeway, my trip computer says that i'm getting 24-27MPG. unfortunaly, if i am going up any kind of incline at all, my mileage will drop down to 20, sometimes lower. i'm not stomping on the gas or anything, or at least i don't think i am.

i'll probably have to fill up sometime this weekend or early next week and i'll do some of that math stuff and figure out how accurate my trip computer has been.
