excl.gif I need two new tires to replace the dunlops on the back. I have 1 yr old turanzas up front and sort of like them but I am interested in the new goodyear triple treads. Could I get everyone's opinion. I live in Tennessee if that matters.

The Bridgestone is the better tire, no personal experience with Goodyears but I loved my Bridgestones.

I too, have had excellent results from Bridgestone. I will never buy another Goodyear tire after multiple problems on multiple cars.

Hello Jose:

So, you live on Belmont or is that your name? Either way, the Turanza's are an excellent tire. I've got them on my '98 V70 T5 and I like them. I live in Seattle and they work great in wet and dry. Bit spendy, but good.

I'm a sophomore at Belmont. There is a CostCo in Coolsprings about 20min away. I don't have a membership, but I got a quote for 104.99 + tax for each tire including mounting, balancing, valve stems, insurance, etc. I don't have a membership and not willing to spend $45 for that, so I am going to act like I am touring the store to decide if I want to join and get a written estimate for the 2 turanzas. There is a Firestone, Bridgestone Mastercare center about 5 min from campus who has agreed to drop their price to match. Their list is $137 for just the tire.

I want all four tires the same and I rotate to even out the wear.

I'd get matching tires. I like the stuff Turanza line.
