Also, somewhat on topic now. What are the benefits of Jewel headlights, do they act more like projectors? That could be good when using HIDs... I personally am not sure if I like them or not based on the pictures I have seen... Just curious
I will probably go the E-Code lens route w/ euro turn signals unless the Jewel's are that much better.

I believe a guy took the projectors out of some Bimmer headlights and retrofitted them into the jewel setup. He posted a bunch of pics of the process on VPTuning, but I don't remember who it was. The light output on the jewels seems a bit better than stock IMO, nothing incredible though. They have a sharper cutoff as well, like the E-Code lights. If you want to do HID's in the jewel headlights, you have to remove the reflector in the housing, otherwise light will go wacko and will be everywhere except in front of your car. And Carson, believe me, pictures cannot do the jewel headlights justice. I've posted pics of them on my car and they look a 100x better in real life.

i think HIDs work better with the jewels
you can see the difference on peter and will's car
the light goes further and is brighter and yea cooler
they look really sweet too
