Need some help with my automatic climate control on my 98 S70 T5. It's been real flaky lately--sometimes doesn't come on, and sometimes actually can't turn the darned thing off. It's very erratic. I've seen blinking lights on the AC panel, so I went to Auto Zone to have the codes read, but there were none stored (the CEL was not lit). So is this some special code that can only be read at the dealer?
Thanks,
Vwilly

Auto Zone cannot access those codes......AST makes a scan tool for that if you wanna spend a couple grand? Find an indy or take it to the dealer to have the codes read

The VST(Volvo Scan Tool), Volvo scan tool will tell you what the blinking lights are caused by. A dealer or an independent with a VST should be able to let you know whats going on.
