1994 and 2003 are not even close to being the same. I suggest you start a thread about your problem.

OK close enough but there are two 2003 V70 NA, one is with an engine designation B5244S the other is a B5244S6.
The tank does not have baffles. The tank is stainless steel on the B5244S6(I think). The tank is whats called a saddle tank, it has two sides because of the exhaust. The level sensor on the left side of the car is where the power comes in and the Pump unit and level sensor for the right side of the car connects to the left, so fuel is kept balanced between the two sides. Some have a Fuel pump control module in the tank.

thanks for the info
my car is 'cheating' me by 3-4 u.s.gals @ fillups, so I keep thinking that maybe that fuel is 'hiding' in one of the saddle sides; I get reserve indicator on too soon.

I'd have to check deeper, but I'm pretty sure that can be adjusted With the Vadis Cart at the dealers. They can take away or add to the gauge so it better fits if your are having a problem.
You can go in and actually monitor how much gas is on each side, it's done in liters per side, I think its 40 liters per side.

I had my DIM software upgraded, if this helps; what you're saying is that through Vadis sensors in the tank can be calibrated/set ??

Some cars, can be adjusted to your situation, I'd have to hook your car up to see if thats do able on yours.
