just wondering if this damage is repairable? it looks like maybe the frame might be bent?

I don't know, maybe. Hopefully just the sheet metal is bent. A professional shop will tell more acturately. What happened?

i dunno, i just bought the car at my local dealers only auction. it is a 1995 850 non-turbo with a 5 speed in it.

What price did you buy the car? I hope it was really low.

got it for 150 bucks.

I'd be willing to bet its almost entirely sheetmetal. Unibody's aren't that hard to be straightened anyways by a proper shop.

if its still tracking straight then its almost surely fine. I'd have to look at it myself to tell, but I think you got a good deal. The only hard part is going to be dealing with insurance if it was totalled but that isn't usually too much of a problem either.

i dont really care about salvaged titles. those are bull stuff anyways. i might just leave it this way and drive it around a while if i cant find a fender or a hood and what ever i need.

every now and then someone is parting out an 850

looks like a good deal for 150 bucks

someone put aftermarket rims on it, and painted the roof liner silver
most of it is justs bumper, fender, hood, headlight, grill
that isn't too bad and you can get all those parts for less than nothing

if you want, part it out

the hood will be no less than $400 imo... if you can find one! New fender, it'll be expensive man... the light you can find on ebay for $63, it's just tough to find that stuff. To me, the frame looks bent right at the driver's side headlight, no longer lines up with that bumper.

who cares how it looks, it drive straight. i could sledge that part out if i need.

just b/c it drives striaght doesnt mean it is actually balanced straight. aot of times you cant feel really out of balance pieces.

id part it out (that 5spd will bring you lots of dough) and then buy something.

well anyways. i really dont want to part it out. i just would like to daily drive it. tommorow im going to really check out the structure under the fender to se if there is anything out of kilter.

Did you have insurance? If so why not totally it. That car is not worth repairing. You're looking at over 5k in repairs at a bodyshop.

Total it and buy something else. You'll make money off the car.

well it looks like i need a bumper cover, a signal lamp, a headlamp, a hood, and a windshield. the fender i can salvage and the windshield is only like 150 with install. if anyone knows where i can get the rest please tell.
