Replacing Bearing Hub

1. Is it important to have an 'angle torque gauge' for measuring the additional tightening, or is it acceptable to estimate the additional angle after using a torque wrench?
2. Is it necessary to use metal adhesive on the splines?
Thanks for your help.

You'll know right away which one belongs on your car, one doesn't even fit over the shaft. I would GUESS the littler one was for 93 models (Rich?) but the one with three ridges on the outside/top of the nut is yours. Good luck!

My nut and bolt collection is filling up my tool boxes. Comes in handy though!

1. Can the control arm-to-sub frame bolts/nuts be reused? The Haynes manual indicates that they can't be reused.
2. The torque specs for the E-14 Torx bolts that hold the bearing hub into the spindle are different between Haynes and Bay13. Maybe this is because the Bay13 instructions are for 850s and the Haynes manual is for the 70-series??... Bay13 reports 65nm then 60degress while Haynes reports 20nm, then 45 nm, then 60 degrees.
Thanks for the help.

2) either method yields the same results, the first (bay13) is right off of the VADIS instructions.
