OK so in my 95 850 Turbo Wagon, I can't move the seat back up or down (has been like this for a while) but now I can't get the drivers seat to go back very far. It is like there is something in the way and i looked , it has a clear path. Is this a common problem that I may be able to fix thanks all!!

Thanks. I knew that I needed to replace the seat back cable but what about the seat (the bottom portion) not going back very far. That doesn't have anything to do with the seat back cable, does it?

Nope the seat back cable doesn't have anything to do with it. What I'd try is raise your seat up all the way, and then do the fwd and back on the tracks, looking and feeling the motors under there until you find which one it is, should be the center one, and it has a shaft that goes to the other side(outboard) that drives that sides gearing, make sure all thats working correctly. You can always take out the 4, 14mm bolts that hold the seat in place, and tilt it way back and operate it and see if you can figure out the binding problem.
