This is weird. My key fob worked normally for like a month and a half, but a few days ago, the lock function stopped working. Unlock still works fine. What the heck? Any idea on how to fix it (if fixing it is possible)?

Have you tried replacing the battery?
I know my remote start fob eats batteries like a mofo. Just a thought.

pop the sucker open and give it a good cleaning with some alcohol or windex.... probably just dirty contacts. could be the battery though.

Short the switch and see if the function works. If one side works, it isn't the battery. Likely the switch is dirty or bad.

Take the fob apart so you can see the printed circuit board with the buttons on it. Try depressing the locking button the printed circuit board, and if it works that means when you are pressing the lock button (when the unit is assembled) the button isn't making good contact with the button on the circuit board. You may have to put a thin spacer between the buttons so when you press the button, the circuit boards button is being depressed also.

my lock doesn't work all the time...very annoying, my fob looks like a sealed unit
i notice on the 95's that the fob has a sort of click to it but on the 96's they are more of a soft touch no click..not sure about +96 and -95's though
