Hi all,
I changed my front calipers this week out of neccesity because one had siezed up, and the other looked like it was going to soon. Both boots had come lose from the caliper and the pistons where rusted. Everything went fine with the calipers. I used hose clamps to stop the fluid from coming out of the hoses while I changed the calipers. After everything was complete i bleed both front brakes.
But today i was out driving and when i depressed the pedal it seemed really hard. When i pulled into the car park my ABS light came on. So i went into the store, came back out, started the car and the ABS light went out as it usually does. So am i just thinking that there is something wrong when there isn't because i did the work myself, and it was my first time changing calipers and bleeding brakes.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Also is there a way to losen the rubber brake hose from the steel one without tearing up the brass nut? Mine has never been changed, and the hose has crakes in it.
Thanks,
Christopher

possibly air in the line and you should probably upgrade to SS lines if your rubber ones are cracked

I would love to if i can get the old ones lose from where they connect to the hard lines that go to the master cylinder. I tries to remove them last night, but i couldn't get it loose.
