Hi All,

On my C70 the A/C compressor goes on and off continously. I put a gauge on the line and just when the needle goes from blue to yellow it clicks off, drops down then starts going up gets to the blue/yellow transition on the gauge then clicks off.

any ideas? I'll measure the air gap tomorrow, but this sounds like it could be different

no only when you turn the a/c or defrost on.

it was working fine, cold air, then the air wasn't very cold, then warm. I figured the compressor wasn't engaging anymore or something.

Sounds like you may need a recharge. How frequently is it cycling?

Go buy some refrigerant from wal-mart/auto store. I prefer national refrigerant brand from autozone. Start engine, turn a/c max cold & blower, then start filling the refrigerant in. It's going to take a while (20-30 mins), shut the refrigerant off if you feel cold enough.

I bet you have a leak somewhere. Cheapest way is to get super seal (seal metal too).

Read the instructions carefully or else you'll mess up your a/c. Approx. cost: ~$30
