I am getting ready to replace the drivers and passenger side cam seals. I thought I would start with the driver side seals and while I have them exposed, make and use the camshaft locking tool so I can do the passenger side seals. Question is, is there a way to align the cams so the driver side cam end slots are each horizontal? or do I just turn the crankshaft to align them when I have them opened up? if I did that would it mess up any electronic sensing? thanks

What you do so the cams are almost exactly where they need to be is to line up the marks on the cams and crank just like you are going to change out the timing belt, then take the T-belt off and then the cam pulleys etc.
