I need a good scanner that will let me check my trouble codes, tell me what the code means, and allow me to monitor sensors. I found this one on IPD 3100 and i found the IPD scan too and I found some on E-bay that work with your lap top and Palms( I know/understand the risks of E-bay) Please give me y'alls opinions and suggestions.
Thanks Guys and Gals

The 3100 will read your codes for engine. It will not reset you oil change/service light. It is just a reader and resets codes.
Autozone has the OBDII reader for 96 + cars. One at about $75 that displays only numbers one at $150 that displays numbers and words like "Coolant Sensor Signal Missing"
There are software out there that allows you to read many parameters on your PC.
