I was reading through the "oil cooler draining" procedures in the maint. area of bay 13 and saw a black plastic protective cover in the photos. It looks like the cover is supposed to protect the bottom of the radiator and other items down there. I do not have this black plastic bottom cover plate on my '97 glt wagon. Does anyone know if this protective cover was installed on '97's or is the photo of a newer model (say a v70)? If it is actually missing on my car I guess I should try to locate one.
I have only owned my '97 glt wagon for a couple of weeks and I am trying to fix the problems as I find them.
Thanks for your help.

Yes it sounds like you are missing your's. Last time I had to buy one which was a while ago they were around $90 at Volvo.
