I just replaced my thermostat.
I have benefited a lot both from the previous posts and bay13, thanks to Rich and all the users.
Everything went smooth, however, I was just wondering if I have to remove the air from the radiator, if any, and how?

Just fill it back with antifreeze/water (distilled) and run the engine at idle for a few seconds. The level goes down then fill it with the mixture some more. Do this until the level stays constant.

Sometimes it takes a few miles for the level to go down if there is air in the system I just fill it up like previously stated put the cap on and drive it

Top everything up, put the cap on and warm the car up and then let it cool, that usually makes the car burp and you can then top off as needed.

I find it usually takes a half dozen start/stop cycles before all the aire is purged. Just keep a jug of AF in the car till it stabilizes.
