Anyone know of a good car shop in the NE that can do a suede headliner in my car? I want it matched to the dark alcantara suede on my seats/door panels.

So I just found out that my local audio shop does suede headliners, and they have material that is almost a perfect match to the suede on my seats and door panels. They want like $300+ to remove the headliner, put the suede on, and then put the headliner back in. If I take the headliner out myself and give it to them, the cost is only $50 plus the cost of the material (should be under $150 total for material & labor).

So, how does one go about removing the headliner (besides removing all of the overhead lamps, handles, and stuff? Does the moonroof assembly have to come out in order to remove the headliner? Once the headliner is dropped down, do I just slide it out the trunk (with the back seats folded down)?

I remember when i re-did the headliner in my old 740 - i dont know if the process is exactly the same, but from what i remember, all you have to do is remove the trim around the moonroof just so you can slide the headliner out. You shoudlnt have to remove the whole assembley.
