Hi, I am new to this site because I started to get issues with my 98 T5 the other day my driver's side window went down but didn't go back up. I saw that everyone is saying that it is the master switch but the thing about it is I would like to test it before buying a new part. Can someone provide me a way to test it, but can someone also recomnned where I can buy the part if I really need it.

I have a brother who also has an S70, so I swapped switches to see if that was the problem. It worked, so I ordered the part from FCPgroton.com. It's the cheapest on the net and they ship fast. You can pry the switch out without taking the door panal off. I would use a screwdriver wrapped in cloth to prevent scratching. If your paranoid about scratches, then take the panal off. It only takes 10 minute or so.
