so i'd guess $450-550 for a hood? a CF hood is $800 IIRC.

a regular hood from the dealer is gonna be over 1,000.

Can u tell if the fenders have been painted also ? and how about each side , are there signs of any body work??
If so then those areas need to be take care of also. You don't want to have hood painted and then have the clear on the fenders blow off.
And I would stay away from pressure washers!!
Oh, if it is just the hood, a good body shop will blend over the top of the fenders to insure a good color match.

i have a few spots like that on my hood.
It seems like the clear coat is slowly peeling away. 
A few questions I have are.. how did this happen and waht can I do to fix it.
Spring is comin up and its gotta shine in the sun, not peel like a suburn!

it happen either cause a bad paint job, or you had a rock chip and water got under neath it,

only way to fix it is to repaint

The clear coat is flaking off my spoiler the same way. It's annoying. I tried peeling it off part way and then waxing but it came back. Looks like a repaint is in order.

You could always put tribal tattoo or flame decals on your hood.
