Anyone have those, pics? Are they usable on a S70...I'm assuming yes b/c of the similarity of the cars.

You always come up with interesting things to think about on our cars.. Nice work, even if you never do them, it's good to get all of us getting out of our ruts with the semi-small amount of "easy mods."

Interesting. But I am wondering... we have two huge locks on each side of the hood. If those don't hold, why would two little pins do any better? I don't understand the reason for it. Unless someone could enlighten me.

Serge, I think what he's tryin to say is that it could look pretty cool, as many old skool muscle cars rock the hood pins.. Hood pins always meant badass to me growin up at the dragraces.

It presents a euro/muscle/even rice mix to the car that I think might look good. As for not doing the things I say, I do them all in time. As of now, I'm about to order these hoodpins and in the next month or so I'll have shaved my doorhandles.

Also, I've never had a problem with the hood not locking with the stock, so these little pins will likely do the same job, maybe little worse, maybe a little better. Who knows? I'll try it.

I was thinking that but CF would look horrible on my color unless I could do one of those hoods with the fogging CF...the blend from paint to CF, it's weird. No idea about it just saw it. Anyone know where to get? What I'm talking about?

Pretty much just looks. Personally, I'd go with locking hood pins so people can't just pop your hood at will. But thats just me... after all I had them

dont think it will go to well for the S70, a 240 maybe but S70 just wouldnt look right

yea just watch out that theives don't just open your hood and jack all your goodies
but this does make for weight reduction and an extra .5 hp haha

It was a joke on the weight reduction. Link me to locking hoodpins...I thought those were...lol. One comes with an unpickable cylindrical key! lol
