what's up with the wheels on my 850 not being the same on both sides. on one side, it looks like they're scooping the air in, and the other side it looks like they're slicing through the air. anyone know what the hell i'm talkin about? i'll post some pics maybe.

Actually, they are directional... Just no one really cared when they put them on the cars, all Volvos I see have the same wheels on left and right, that's how mine were.

all 4 of mine originally were the same.

the problem is the tires came oem as non-directional...be it the sportier michelin pilot hx mxm tires or the all-season tires. so rotating tires were for all 4 corners. move the two in the front straight back and move the rear crossward front...or something like that. either way, if u actually had two left rims and two right rims, rotating like that would give odd looking wheels whenever the left and right rims got mixed up.

so..u can call volvo lazy smile.gif...or slightly shortsighted when they first came up with the swirled left and right rims.. which weren't too bad looking back in 1994

i think columbas are the nicest set of 16"ers though
unless you can post pics so i don't have to search for a nicer set
