1) This is the way I originally planned to do this, in fact I was gonna go home this weekend and get it done, but now im not so sure. My idea can be read about here:
http://volvospeed.com/vs_forum/index.php?s...1982&hl=Cluster
Heres a pic taken off that like in case you dont want to read it

Unfortunatly, you would also need to light it from behind with this idea, the white spray paint wouldnt work. Basically I would light the gauges from behind with blue LEDs and then use the blacklights to make the needles glow red or oarnge. I would also still mirror tint the inside of the gauges.
But last weekend I tried to shine a black light onto the gauges to see how it would look and there are these little triangles that show up that I think are used to calibrate the gauges. I would need to paint over these, but I couldnt paint the whole face over cause of all the detail work around the numbers, so im worried it will look bad.
2) Heres a 2nd option I discovered recently from a link off volvospeed actually. The site is called ImportIntelligence.com, or more specifically:

Heres some pics of the examples:

(this would be how mine would look, just in the volvo.

Now I think this would look alot more OEM then the black lights, but its also almost $80, now do you think its worth it to buy the seperate needle lights or just go with my original plan?
GIVE ME ADVICE PEOPLE!!
