I want to know what rims these are. Also, what years/models can they be found on and how much do they usually cost? Thanks.

Polaris. They are to the RWD drive guys what Volans are to us.

no those arent polaris'

polaris' have the same idea but tehy are a straight 5 spoke and have a bigger lip

those wheels are the 940 - 960 turbo fan wheels.. not sure which years

Er, yeah, you're right. Polaris have straight spokes.

the only reason i know those arent polaris wheels is because i wanted them sooo bad untill i figured out they wouldnt fit on my car

Yup. Came on 740's all the way up to '90 i believe. possbly to '92.

Also, its a 16" rim.

Hydras. Neat rims. I also happen to have 4 of them (one quite severely bent) sitting in my garage from my 944.

Thanks everyone. I will check out for those rims at the shop of the guy who fixes our volvos. Here is another question. The 740 has the same bolt pattern as the 200 series and the 900 series, right?

Would a FWD Volvo look wierd with RWD rims though? How far would they stick out?

leave it up to us to discuss wheels that are 15 or 16 inches in diameter for more a few days!

we like to "discuss" everything in depth....i wish I spent this much time discussing books on dentistry...
