Instrument cluster rings

Rings at night
Make it happen for an 850 Turbo please!

1996 965 - Needs (preferably paint code 418) front bumper cover and pass side: front fender trim, side mirror, taillight (red-clear-clear-red). PM Me!!

Well I could do CF on my CNC. The only down fall you'd have the "profile" of CF where its been cut through.

Now, what would look sharp, is if I could do aluminum say 1/4" thick. Paint it black (with a slight krinkle paint) before milling it. Then just polished the "cut". That'd give you a very nice looking piece that wouldn't scream "add on".

Better than what I was thinking... Same basic idea but with the trim rings being a secondary piece.

Yours seems easier!

Hmm I wonder if CJ could do that. He doesn't have a CNC but he does have access to alot of cool toys. I mean... really if you did it thin enough you could just do it with a holesaw if your insane.

How hard is it to remove that guages cover in s70? I was gonna paint it silver. I could scan it, measure it, redraw and make corel draw/illustrator/acad or whatever vector based file so anyone could use it for something. There are some wicked looking metalic vinyls at signshops, all they need is a file so they can cut it out. We should start a thread with a all the graphics files that can be used by others.
