I just thought I'd let you guys know that when tuned right, those new R's are nothing to mess with. HHmm, now I want one. Ya know, yesterday was my birthday, and if every member here contributed $4 to the Sean NEEDS an S60R fund, I could buy one

He said he's not on VS, only SS every once in a while. I don't know what his SN would be though. Didn't ask. It looked like that car Johann, except it had silver HRE wheels on it.

I don't want to sound like the prick here, and I'll be more than happy to eat my words if I see some timeslips, but I just don't see any of the Rs getting that low this quickly...it took the B5 S4 guys a long time to get into the 12s...and thats after extensive modifications. Not just exhaust, intake, chip and intercooler.

If it weren't for the fact that I can't launch the R (
I think if done well I can do 13 mid to low with my R which is ~200 lbs heavier compared to an S60R.
My R tested 404 crank HP on RICA's static MAHA dyno which isn't known for being optimistic.
The car is still a bit low on torque but results are already promising.

Personally Johann I wouldnt launch the crap out of your V70R regardless of wether you can or not...I'm a little sceptical about volvo's drivetrain + plenty traction + your 404 MAHA horsepower being a sound combination from a dead stop

No idea. It is still strongly FWD biased though, correct?
