The IPD floor mats that protect your nice looking OEM carpeted mats are about $60 ($30/pair). Anyone have any experience with these?

I have some on order - been waiting 2 months for them, to come in from Sweden. I will let you know how I like them once they get here. They are supposedly VERY nice.

I have those $100 super rubber mat for winter and they rock, but I always felt like the back seat needed protection too. I figured the molded plastic mats were just what I was looking for.

I have them, they are not that great...I put them down over my regular mats, but they move around a lot up front, especially the driver's side. I tried them also, removing the regular floormats and just using the trays, and they slide around even more. The rear ones are okay either way.

I think the ones from Volvo are probably a lot better quality and stay in place better. I haven't actually seen them though. I forget how much they cost, but with the 30% off, and a hookup at BVV, they would probably be a decent price from Volvo.

The ones that Vlv World sells are rubber but they are OEM, and have the holes for the floor stays. I really want to get those, but I don't want to spend double the $$ on the rubber for winter and plastic mats for other seasons.

So Gregg, your's are from IPD?

Does anyone have one of those trunk mats like the plastic or rubber reversible one(Vlvworld)? I don't know which one to get. smile.gif

yes, mine are the iPd trays. They are better than nothing, but not as good as the OEM rubber ones.

How did you get 30% off at BV? That coupon is only good on dealer installed items, I thought.

Thats if your car is in service and they have to replace or install a new part

I have seen the mats at IPD and they do suck, they are hard and not moldable to your car floor.

there is also a patch of fabric for your foot so it doesn't slip...

I think I paid like 95.00 or so for the nice rubber volvo mats at BVV (that's after the e-mail discount that John gives which is like 15 or 20%)...
