I've heard that for some reason Volvo produced the 850 pre-wired for marker lights (i'm sure you all know but for clairty, they would be just behind the front tires where it says "Volvo".

If that's the case then, cool.

More importantly, is the 850 (i have a '94 Turbo) pre-wired for fog lights. I don't know if that was an option, but it's one i'd like.

If it isn't how difficult is it to put some stock looking ones in, and wire them to the dash where they would have existed originally?

850s should be pre-wired for fogs.

My '96 wasn't, but I wired mine to the corners in about an hour. (less time than needed to clean the residual adhesive from the Volvo emblems)

You can check if your sidemarkers are prewired, it's really easy. Open your driver's side door all the way, and look at where it hinges, towards the front of the car. You should see an opening where you can peer through (might need a flashlight). If you see wires going up to where your Volvo emblem is, you're prewired.

i'm guessing you could see if you removed the plastic splash pan under the front of your car.

Yes sir, they are. If you look under the kick panel you'll find a yellow harness that's not connected to anything.

actually, if you look on the left of the steering wheel, in one of the blank dash switch places, the harness should be there
