i'm going to buy a car on friday, a 95 turbo wagon. the owner also has a set of seats out of a t5r that he would include for 200 dollars more.
i was wondering how hard it is to swap those with the stock seats? i understand the passengers t5r seats are power.. is there anyway to hook them into on the passengers side (someone suggested tapping into the power for the air bag..)?
any guides that say how to do this? it might be worth the nicer seats if i can figure out how to put them in..
thanks!

if the seats are in good condition, $200 isn't a bad price IMO.
the car may be pre-wired for the seat, if it isn't you may need to buy a harness. last time i looked under my passenger seat, i think i saw some extra wires.

replacing the seats?
i'd just start by removing the four bolts and then disconnect any wires.

most likely a wiring harness for a passenger side power seat.

I'm not sure about the power seat issue either, but I will give you one piece of advice ... be careful pulling the old seats and installing the new ones. Plug-n-play? Okay, however the seats aren't that light in weight and you'll be working at weird angles. Make sure you have plenty of room outside the car to work with (i.e. don't work in cramped spots), push the rear seatbacks all the way forward, and go slow. With good planning the job is a snap, but if you go at it without thinking you'll end up scratching your paint or ripping a door panel. Good luck!
