Have any of you seen a vw vr32? WOWZers. A guy came in with a flat repair who owned one. Such a hott car, and its n/a. Think the guy said 240 hp stock, 6 speed, racing seats, nice stock exhaust, huge brakes, nice 18's stock, 235/40/18. I would def. drive it over a c70. As far as your car goes (gti,) you would have to drop a lot of money into it to get it to what your talking about... Save your money.....buy the c70.... if u have money for the vr32 in the future, GET IT. The guy also said there are some turbo kits , one for like 15k or something, that will boost hp up to something over 400. This guy is married, so I know hes not yanking my jerk!

The R32 is sweetness, but it's just WAAAAAAAAAAAAY too expencive. There's a company in Montreal called HPA that has a 550hp upgrade for it. 0 to 60 in 3.2 seconds, top speed over 200mph, but that kit is like 30 grand cad $. My VW's interior is crap compaired to the C70. It doesn't even have A/C! It doesn't matter how much I were to mod the VW, yes it could do circles around a C70 for the fun-to-drive factor, but it would just be a performance car with an ugly interior.
Volvo all the way. I'm going to sell the VW by 2006, put that money towards the C70 funding process, or the C70 mod funding process

Neuspeed makes a supercharger for the two point slow.
I agree with Greg. VW's are much more fun to drive in general than most Volvos.

Do you have the grey mouse fur cloth offered on the 94?
Mine held up real well up untill I sold it. Always thought the VW was ahead of its time interior wise.
S70 is still much nicer though...
