Need Opinion On Wheels

OK Guys, I currently have Volans on my R but I am kind of bored with them and looking to change the wheels. I am sticking with Volvo because in my humble opinion , they make the best looking OEM wheels out there.

My Volans are in perfect condition i.e. no curb rash at all on any wheel. I can't tell if they are bent by just looking at them but when I last checked, they were not.

I was thinking of going through the Wheel Collision place and getting either Comets or Satellites with the R logo. What do you guys think?

I would say go with the Comets. The Satellites are only 7" wide, whereas Volans and Comets are 7.5" wide, therefore, with the proper tire, you will get better handling from the wider wheels. Also, the Comets seem to be much rarer than the Satellites.

Does Wheel Collision sell anthracite Comets, or just silver Comets? It's another choice, depending on what kind of look you want for the car.

Comets are the word... I hasten to say you'll never find them (for a decent price) Same thing with Satellites... very great looking wheel, but since they were very limited production, like the comet, they are going to be VERY hard to find.

They sell both but I am interested in Silver. I think they are about $225 each. They give you a pathetic $40 credit if you give them your wheels. What a joke!

The Satelites are $245.

They said they would have to look for those wheels and then get back to me. I told them to start looking. They only have 1 Comet in stock. No Satelites at all.

The thing is I would have to buy them first and then sell my wheels to recover the cost. The buying first part is

I would get the Comets, they look nice and sporty where as the Satellites are only sporty looking. They arent as easy on the eye. Plus one of the other guys said there 7.5", and would handle better which is a good reason too.

I would have to agree with you Mike about your 2nd choices

Canistos are cool, but my favorite wheels would probably be Titans. I love the simple 5-spoke design

I'm partial to my Cetus 15's haha...seeing as I've never seen them on another S70 I'm guessing mine are carryover from the 850...any thoughts?
