Well, I found these pics on cardomain a while back, and im feeling whats going on here. I decided to photochop the trim to match the body and i think it looks amazing. What i need to know from you guys is how you feel about the black mesh grille and the black light housing.

Looking at some 17" Tenzo R Passion 5 spokers.
Im still not sure whether i should go Silver or Black here... most likely black to match the tints and grille.

Hopefully by the end of summer my car will look something like this!

make a p-shop with those wheels on, painted door handles, around the mirrors, and it will look good, but now i don't think it really matches, the whole red car, silver wheels and black grill/hl

I think the black with silver/polished lip will look nice. Not many 850 owners have wheels like this, so it will be quite an individual look too.

That most definitely is gregg's car, lol. And i think you might see a corner of mine in a pic as well.

Ahh painted red bumper and trim...same style/colour as my 850! Anyway i think if you were definatly going to get those rims. I'd say go full silver if your bumper and trim is painted fully. And go silver/black if you didn't paint the bumper and trim. Because then it would leave an equal balance of black in each area of the car (If you had black grill and black headlight jewels as well).

hahaha thats awesome! should have known the owner would be on here. Can i ask you where you got those black housings? and is there any chance you have any pics of what those lights look like at night?

Im interested in what those little square LED type lights look like that sit between the 2 main lights.

Now that you guys have pointed it out if i paint the trim and all the handles and what not it may look kinda weird with black rims. hmmmm definetly gonna have to think this through.

I think a few photochops are in order. I'll try to get them done by the weekend and you guys can give more feed back

*edit* ps. sorry i didnt blur ur plate gregg.. but seeing as how you posted the pics first im sure its fine hehehe. Just used to blurring plates normally on the calgary car forums cuz theft is pretty nasty here.

And I personally wouldn't paint the trim, just re-dye it so it looks brand new and flat black. That mixed with the black wheels/silver lip would look sweet.


Edit: Dan, you can't say that is too much red on a photoshop. YOU PAINTED THE LIP ON YOUR WHEELS YELLOW!

I kinda like the painted trim, especially in red. Just make sure you do it right if you decide to do it.

Those rims would look very nice on a red 850, epecially if you got the blacked-out jewel headlamps like Gregg has.

I like the black trim, in fact if I owned an x70 in red, the first thing I would do is paint the bumper tops (along the break line) and the door trim Then 18" black wheels with polished lip... yummmm
