Anyone do it or know a good place to get it done....I called the two places I could Google...LAX quoted me $450 to refinish my Tritons (i know they are two piece and detailed, but I still think $450 is wayyy high)....couldn't get an answer at another place....can it be done for under $200?

Tritons are really fancy wheels. Would take a lot of extra work to do them...

Hey Pras,
Nice wheels! Are those wheels just painted and you need to refinish them? Do you want to have them powder coated? Powder coating runs about $50/wheel, I checked out a place in El Monte, CA. I would polish the lip and powder coat the center, just an idea.

Andrew, there are some chips and scratches, and a few areas where the wheels were touched up...don't know too much about wheels, but I figure I can get the chips filled in, and paint the wheels anthracite or something....I'll get to you on the El Monte place...If they can do all four the way I want for under $200 then I'm almost 99% down....
Kevin, shipping them to Jake is an option, but no extra wheels here in the meantime, and shipping alone is about $80, so that leaves me $120 to play with for Jake to do some hard work...probably not worth his time...I think I have to do this locally!

Pras,
Do it at Wheel America in Stanton. They are a 24 hour turnaround and a 129 or so flat fee. I have had many friends who took their wheels (Brabus and HRE) to them and they came back in very good condition.
Check them out.

Stephen, that's a great site with a great turnaround and guarantee, but it's $129 PER WHEEL!!!
Do body shops do wheels, or only specialized wheel repair places...I've never seen a sign or place that does wheel repair....

If its just repainting and a bit of bondo work I bet most body shops would be down to do it.
You'll probably have to hunt around the SGV to find places that have cheaper body shops (read Asian

or I could roam around the 909 for a bit and find somebody to do it, but I'm afraid I'll get shot on the freeway on the way down there....
