it happened while my car had been sitting idle for about 5-7 mins, and then i put the car in reverse and i saw a slight puff of blue/gray smoke (not condensation) while backing up. after putting car in drive there was no smoke and it did not do this the rest of the day, after trying to duplicate the situation. no oil loss shown on dipstick, or any signs of previous smoking on the lower portion of bumper . any advice, maybe i should do the seafoam like i was going to do anyway and just keep an eye on matters.--

stock turbo blowing by oil, don't worry about it.

Agree with ^^^^^^^^^^
Mine does the same thing, 10 year old turbo will need replacing with a rebuilt unit when I decide to spend the money, but there is no noticable oil loss between changes so I'm not in a rush. James bond still has me beat for smoke.

I just noticed mine does this also after sitting idle for a minute or so. Glad to know the turbo will last a while longer.
