The material around the door panels on my 98 V70 is peeling away. I've seen this happen to other V70/S70s before so I was hopping theres some one out there who has a solution to my problem. Here's a picture of what i'm dealing with:

Thanks in advance for any adivce

it's pretty lame, cause the foam backing is glued to the leather, and when you try and peel the leather back, the backing comes with it. I looked into doing this, and I have 4 panels if you're looking for a practice set. smile.gif

Man, glad I have an 850. They fixed so many things between the 850 and 70-series - sucks that they created such a nasty new problem!

I got quoted about $100 a door to get profesionally re upholstered. They said it was a common problem on just about all the european cars in south fla because of the humidity.

No experience in doing this at all... but perhaps you can make a tiny hole with a syringe and put some 3M adhesive in there. The little hole will allow air to come out so you can push the material down. Worth a try smile.gif
