How ya like the Motul Charles? Great stuff if I must say so myself. Whenever I order it though, the cans always come dented. Oil costing $10/quart should not come in dented cans
I change mine usually a bit before 3500 miles with Motul 300V 5w-40 or Voll Synthese 5w-40.

You round up or down. Most people won't change exactly on the mile. Most will say "3000" or "4000", not "3500" !!
I could have done 0 - 2,999, 3,000 - 4,999 etc, but thought that was a bit over the top!

I read a good article on the mobil 1 that says only over 8k does the oil start to suffer with contaminats rising etc.
I also have an oil cooler which reduces the stress on the oil, but with engine oil its the engines nasty by-products that make changing necessary. Thats why atf can go 100k without a change if it stays at operating temps.

Volvo 850R Auto, 162K, Bobcat\SW Autos Custom Ecu, 18T, Reverse IC, 13 Row (Mocal Type) Engine Oil Cooler, 39 Row (3x 13 Row's)(Mocal Type) ATF Cooler, 20psi VDO Boost Gauge, Osram 50% Silverstars upfront, ITG Filter, OEM Strutbrace, Aerial Down Switch, 302mm Front Discs, Ferodo DS2500 Pads Front & Rear, Goodridge SS Brake Hoses, New Brake Hard Pipes, ATE Super Blue Brake Fluid, Koni Ajustables, Eibach pro kit, Slaters Link Rods, 4x Nankang NS-2 215/45/17 XL, Clear Side Repeaters, 70 Series Washer Jets, Powerflex Control Arm Bushes.
Fully Synthetic 5w-40 every 5K Miles, and flushed with 10l of Comma Dexron 3 ATF every other oil change.
In Progress: Custom Alu IC with 2.5" Core IC (Same Dimension as Stock one, Just thicker)
To Come: 3" Mandrel Bent down pipe and Cat Back.
