OK

First off thanks to all of you for this excellent forum. I had a nice weekend with oil change, gas filter replacement, and new spark plugs. The car runs fine, as it did before.

The next thing on my to-do list is to fix an annoying and noisy air leak into the cabin. I can hear and feel air blowing up from below the windscreen on the passenger side,

This image shows the general area of the leak, and also the location of the fresh air intake.

One possibility is that the windscreen is coming unglued in that part. I think that I would be able to feel that. Another possibility is that air is coming in through the bulkhead or that the fresh air intake ducting has broken or is dislocated under the dash.

Has anyone got a tip for me? I have three options as far as I can see:

1) Start by taking off the plastic cover in front of the windscreen and check if anything entering the bulkhead seems out of order.

2) Start by removing the dashboard top and look there.

3) Start by removing the glovebox and passenger kick panel and check there.

Check to see if there is a plastic trim piece that runs along the lower edge of the windshield.

Its very common for the top trim to blow off in the highway blink.gif , the same can be said of the lower trim part.

The trim is in place, thanks for the tip. I think I will try removing the glove box first.

My Dad had his windshield replaced, and it has leaked from the bottom ever since, they even tried reinstalling it twice. For some reason it just wont seal up on the bottom.
