While working on a 1994 turbo 850, we have come across a problem installing the top heater core hose. There are two plastic washers (retainers) and the rubber o-ring. What is the sequence of installation for these parts and are there any tricks in installing the hose?

Usually the package will have a diagram that shows the sequence or arrangement pattern. If you haven't messed with the bottom take it apart and see how they are set up, you might need a mirror to look in where the hose goes in.
