On the way down to STL last night to meet for my grandmothers 90th birthday I was booking it around 85-90mph whenever I could. Around 80-85 there is a bad shudder that starts that just kinda gets worse. Hell, it almost feels like the damned car is being attacked by a ghetto bass machine. If you have ever been in a 850 wagon with the sunroof open and no windows down, that horrible wind compacting sound it makes is very similar. Just this time it is shaking the car, and no windows or anything is open.
I have been up past 110 in this car in years past with no problems. This didn't feel like a noise or vibration just coming from one side, but an equal strangness coming from the entire front end.

Sounds like an unbalanced wheel.

I have exactly the same wheels, i get the worst vibration when i travel 60-6mph

I had something like this when my brake caliper was seized. Once the rotor got hot, it just got worse, and worse. Next day was fine, until it started. If your disc is smokin' hot, then it is your caliper, otherwise, wheel balancing is a cheap place to start...

60mph on 95 highway is not fast! limit is 65 their, what a hell are u talking about?

How do you know what wheels I have on that car.Now I am not so sure about one wheel being off, because it comes equally from both sides. I will see if I can get my mom's shop to do her wheels for free though, and see if something is out of wack.
