S70 - 1998


Neither rear window will operate when using individual door controls.

But left rear window will respond to driver controls.

Right rear is totally unresponsive, except for a slight clicking noise when using the driver control in attempting to roll window down. No sound when trying to go up.

Have switched rear control switches to no effect.

Green bulbs under control buttons on individual door controls are not lit.

Any ideas?

you need a new drivers side master switch.

cleaning the contacts worked !!!

Saved $170 for a master switch.

All that was needed was to pop the switch cluster out of the door - don't need to take panel off, can pry out with a flat head screedriver. Take button lid off of switch. Then take switch box cover off. Clean the contacts and re-assemble.
