I hear mixed opinions about plugs. I'm getting mine replaced and I wanted an advise, which to get?

I have a 98 S70 T5, no mods, none will be done in the near future. Are iridium better b/c they're more expensive? The price difference is enormous! Will I notice any improvement over Copper or Platinum?

Thanks for any input.

platinums = bad for volvo

you guys are such great help!
changed order to copper. saved $50 smile.gif

I also ordered Magnecor Wires for $168. Are you also gonna tell me that Bougicord wires for $58 will work just as well? Or is Magnecor a better choice?

Bosch Coppers gapped at .028" and my Bougicord wires work just fine. I do have a magnecor coil wire though.

that is the optimal gap for a stock turbocharged volvo. Some of us have lowered that gap to about .025, for those with highly modded engines.

I changed mine last month to coppers, but I am getting a rougher idle than I did with the iridiums. I checked the gap on all of them before installing and it was .028, but maybe I should lower it slightly to see if that clears up the problem.
