i notice that when i floor it in first gear from a stop, i hit about 7psi of boost, it spikes up to about 10psi when the car shifts into second. after that, i build boost until 7psi, and it drops back down to 5psi and stays there until it shifts and i get another spike to about 10psi. does this sound like a boost leak? the only reason i ask is because i find it odd that i hold 7psi in first, but i can't hold more than 5psi in any other gear.
i have not done my vac lines or turbo/IC hoses yet, so i very well could have a leak, but i want to throw this out here to see if maybe it's an easier fix.
