Noisy Air Pump

My air pump is producing the most ridiculous loud noise. I took the pump out and noticed that it did not have water in it, which leads me to believe that the SAS valve is still good. Does this sound like just a bad pump or should I replace the SAS valve and relay fuse along with the new pump? Is there anyway to salvage the pump?
