I recently purchased a 1998 V70 T-5. This is the first Volvo I've ever owned, and only the second import I've ever owned (the first was an 83 Toyota Supra). I found this site through Matthew's Volvo Forum.
Using the timing belt article I successfully changed the timing belt on my car this morning. I was a little nervous starting out but I read the article a couple of times last night and referred back to it (especially the pictures) while I was working on the car. I must say I'm feeling rather proud of myself, even though I've been working on cars (as a hobby) for over 20 years.
Intro And Thanks For The Timing Belt Article

Profile filled out now, I'm mostly a lurker when it comes to forums so I don't always think to edit my account info.
