I searched some posts but could not find info on the following
1996 850 turbo sedan brakes
I am looking for some advice about what brand of front brake rotors to install. All the online shops seem to be linked to the same database of parts. Brembo comes up on top for about 55 each, Zimmerman is also there. I want a decent quality disc and ceramic pads. Any guidance appreciated as to the best of all worlds - performance, quality and value. I was told not to buy the $30 "value craft" discs from autozone because the were most likely from china and of inferior quality.
Thanks in advance.

Brembo, Balo, Zimmerman are good quality rotors.
Mintex, Dan-Block are good quality pads. I believe Dan-Block is OEM, dusty pads like OEM but quiet.
So start looking for free shipping and lowest cost of above combo

ditto, any of those rotors, and OEM pads....
I have OEM rotors and pads, and will switch to Brembo/Zimmerman and OEM pads pretty soon here..

Thanks,
I am inclined to go with the ceramics because I heard that they dissipate heat better, are quiet, dont wear rotors as fast and are not nearly as dusty.
any thoughts on this?
Doug

I have good results with Zimmerman rotors.
I like PBR Premium pads in the front and Mintex in the rear. Low dust, excellent braking, so squeal so far. (Mintex fronts were dusty. PBR rears squealed after shims, every type of antisqueal goop I could try, etc.)
