Ok, I had a CEL before I tore the car apart but I assumed it was front 02 since my milage had dropped. After I had EGR (I had the vac lines backwards), Knock (I know why) and EVAP. Everything looks hooked up correctly (pretty hard not too) so whats going on? Can that (I assume) check valve(?) be bad?

Thanks Rich!

Doug

Yes Doug...probably the culprit..you don't have a 541 with that? If not replace the valve is my guess wink.gif

Take the valve off and make sure it holds vacuum in both directions, if it doesn't then it needs replacing. The replacement might require a wiring adapter. I'd also get the filter that goes with it.

The Volvo PN for the EVAP kit is 272190 (this is what you need Doug)
The Volvo PN for the inline filter assembly is 1275794
The Bosch PN for the valve is 0 280 142 300
The Volvo PN for the wiring adapter is 1270313 (not included)

Oh, by the way, I have the kit without wiring adapter if you want it for REAL CHEAP....you'd have to find the adapter though....
