jhb8426 Posted May 8 Report Share Posted May 8 2016 S60, 2016 V60 Cross Country. Today both cars started showing a message on the Sensus console that says "Car modem unable to connect to a network." Neither car has ever had the onboard modem enabled, nor is there a sim card installed. It seems like some service or function expired today as it showed up at the same time. Ihatespeedbumps Posted May 9 Report Share Posted May 9 AT&T discontinued 3G service recently, that's why you have a message on. Volvo released a 4G retrofit kit, but it's been having some problems. mrtl321 Posted May 21 Report Share Posted May 21 Yeah, 3g is no longer in operation and like @Ihatespeedbumps mentioned and I've gotten confirmation from my local dealership the 4g retrofits are not working out as expected.
