I read the previous posts and assumed my rod had slipped so I removed the glove box and took a look. I switched AC for Recirc to Normal but nothing moved. I reached in and tried to manually move the lever I think is the the one that controls the flap but it won't move. I guess the motor is dead.

Are there ways to confrim this, and if it is dead is there a way to replace the motor with out going crazy? Or is there a way to manually move it to the recirc position and secure it there?
