Had Evaporator replaced last year, since then when I turn on the air I hear a irritating high pitched whistle as I accelerate.
This will occur as I step on the gas pedal, and only occurs when the A/C is on.
I've checked the temp sensors and they check okay.
Any Thoughts?

If memory serves right, I had that issue on my car a couple of years ao. It was a faint whine. I believe its a bearing in the A/C fan motor. I had the fan replaced.
Edit : Fan means blower.

Doubt the noise is fan related being that it only happens while on accel..and with the A/C on...is it a belt noise possibly....don't know how loud it is and it may be normal, compressor just doing it's job?

I'd check the orface tube, if it's semi clogged or the "O" ring going bad you could get a whistle.

If the oriface is clogged, can I perform this repair myself? Also, I'm assuming, if the O ring needs replacing, this would require system evacuation and re-pressurization. Correct?

Silly question, but where is that? I've been etting a whistle as my AC cycles on and off as well. I recall reading some time ago that there's a valve somewhere, fairly inexpensive that does this as it fails. Maybe I dreamt it...
